"My passion for interior design started at an early age. My mother (bless her) was very understanding of my frequent desire to change the colour scheme in my bedroom and regularly frequented wallpaper, paint & bedding stores to indulge me in my latest whim. Later, when I started re-arranging the household furniture whilst my parents were out for the evening, their patience started wearing a little thin.."
Sharon is now a qualified interior designer who studied and worked alongside world acclaimed designers such as Nina Campbell and one of the UK’s top ten hospitality designers, Claire Nelson, in London prior to her move to Perth. Sharon proceeded to project manage home renovations and extensions up to a value of £500,000 for her husband’s London based building company. This gave Sharon many valuable years of knowledge in the construction side of design which is crucial to enable projects to be functional and, as importantly, aesthetically pleasing.
Sharon holds the Australian equivalent to a diploma in interior design. She continues to maintain great connections throughout the build and design industry and is respected in her work by professionals, trades, suppliers and clients. Her enthusiasm for design drives her to keep up to date with the latest trends by means of endless subscriptions to design magazines, national and international trade shows, design body memberships and commitment to continued professional development. Sharon’s attention to detail and strive for perfection is second to none.
